Diamond Mountain District, Napa Valley (24 cases produced)
The resulting wine is a lovely expression of the grapes and the terroir. A gem with rich rose color finishing to the edge of the glass. The elegant aroma evokes thoughts of summer berries and rose petals and is enchanced by a refreshing well-balanced minerality on the palate so reflective of its Diamond Mountain origins. The crisp, refreshing mouth feel, velvety smooth on the palate, and extending to its lingering finish is manifest by flavors of black cherry, plum and pomegranate evidence of its clone 4 genesis. The complexity of this wine makes it the ideal companion to summer foods. For optimal appreciation, its best served very cold.
